Pincushion Sewing Kit
What you will need
mason jar or any jar that a mason jar ring an cap fits
fabric scrap
hot glue gun
a small hand full of fiber fill
needle and thread
1. trace a circle onto fabric (wrong side)
the circle should be larger than the ring (i used a cereal bowl.)
cut it out.
loosely stitch around the diameter and gather.
stuff with fiberfill.
pull your gather you should have a mushroom cap, tie it off.
Thats the pincushion.
2. Place ring in cap.
run a small bead of glue and a dollup in center of cap.
you can be as generous as you like you just want pinchushion secure.
and attach cushion.
i kinda went around the rim with the glue just to make sure it was
solid on there.
optional:
decorate the rim with lace or ribbon.
3. fill with basic sewing supplies.
measure tape, needles , thread and small scissor. whatever you like .
makes a great teacher gift!
